Brian Koss joined Mortgage Network, Inc. of Danvers, Mass. as Managing Partner and Chief Storyteller September 1, 2006. MNET is a national lender with wholesale/retail presence in 40+ states. According to Brian, “Mortgage Network is the best-kept secret in the industry. Our philosophy of doing the right thing for Wall Street and Main Street sets us apart from the publicly-held lenders who must focus only on the bottom line”. Brian brings with him 22 years in the business and has personally lent over $1Billion for home loans.
A well-known instructor for many continuing education programs in the Metro Boston area, Brian has established himself through radio, TV and seminars as an authority on debt management. For the past ten years he has been heard as the host of “Mortgage Mondays” on the nationally syndicated “Money Matters” radio show with Barry Armstrong.
In 2001 as a Producing District Manager for North American Mortgage Company, he personally funded $109M while managing a $2B wholesale/retail business. In 2003, Team Koss (his personal book of business) funded over $190M. His “Loan Officer Leverage System” has consistently created Top Producers, including $390M from his Top Originator in 2003. Because of Brian, Countrywide Home Loans climbed from #11 to #1 in Purchase Loan ranking in New England 2002-2005 (with 40% less originators than the #2), producing $5B in total production.
Brian graduated from Bucknell University and makes his home in Winchester, Mass with his wife and two daughters.
